Delivery is by tipper truck: we need a firm, level drop point on your property with no overhead power or service lines, no steep driveways, and no tipping on nature strips or council land. If we cannot tip safely the mulch is refunded but the delivery fee still applies, including Zone A.

This is the mulch that comes off our own tree jobs. Every gum, fig, jacaranda and camphor laurel our crews take down in Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich goes through the chipper, and the chip is stockpiled and aged for months before it goes anywhere near your garden. By the time it lands on your driveway it is dark, fine, settled and ready to spread. No bags, no bark-chip markup, no trip to a landscape yard with a trailer.

Fresh wood chip is still breaking down when you spread it, and while it does that it borrows nitrogen from your soil. Plants notice. Aged forest mulch has already done that work in the stockpile, so it goes straight to the jobs you actually want mulch to do.
A 75mm layer slows evaporation right down, which matters in a Forest Lake or Springfield yard in January when the gums are dropping limbs from heat stress and your beds are cooking.
Light cannot get through it. What does come up pulls out easily.
It keeps breaking down slowly into the bed, and the worms move in underneath it.

A 10m³ load covers the same ground as roughly 200 of the 50-litre bags at the hardware store, and you are not lugging them.

Most suburban blocks in Greenbank, Park Ridge or Browns Plains with a couple of big beds and a hedge line take a 10m³ load. Acreage in New Beith, Munruben or Jimboomba, or a body corporate common area, is usually a 20m³ job. Big acreage, a long driveway’s worth of beds or a whole estate top-up is the 40m³ option, which comes as two truckloads. If you are between sizes, go bigger. Mulch does not go off, and a spare pile in the corner is handy all year.

We deliver in a tipper truck, not a ute, so we need a spot the truck can get to and tip on. Before you order, have a look at your drop point for:
The tipper body goes up. We will not tip under power or service lines.
A driveway, a hardstand, a paddock gateway. Steep driveways and soft lawn are a no.
We cannot tip on nature strips, footpaths or road verges.
If the driver gets there and cannot tip safely, we refund the mulch but the delivery fee still applies, including the Zone A fee. A thirty-second look at the drop point before you order saves everyone a wasted trip. Mulch is delivery only. Our Ellen Grove depot is a working yard with trucks, chippers and excavators moving all day, so it is not open to the public and we do not do pickups.

Most of Brisbane’s south-west, Logan and Ipswich sits inside the fire ant biosecurity zone, and there are rules about where mulch can go and how quickly it has to be used. We move our mulch in line with those rules. Have a look at the movement controls guide if you want the detail, and spread your load within a day of it arriving.
