Delivery only, across Brisbane's south-west, Logan and Ipswich.

Aged forest mulch from our own tree jobs

Every load we sell is chip from the trees our crews take down across Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich. It goes through the chipper, into the stockpile at our Ellen Grove depot, and sits there ageing for months before it goes anywhere near a garden. By the time it lands on your driveway it is dark, fine and settled, and it goes straight onto new plantings without robbing nitrogen from the soil the way fresh chip does.

Pick a load size and delivery zone on the product page and the price is on screen before you pay. Residential loads come in 10m³, 20m³ and 40m³, in aged forest mulch or double-grind palm mulch (from $300 for 10m³). Landscapers, builders and body corporates can order 20m³, 60m³ and 120m³ commercial loads, or ring the office on 1300 239 626 or 0493 787 510 for scheduled supply.

Chipped gum, fig, jacaranda and camphor laurel from our removal and pruning work. No treated timber, no building waste, no kerbside green waste.

Aged, not fresh

Stockpiled for months so it has already done its breaking down. Spread it on new beds without the nitrogen drawdown you get from fresh chip.

How it works

1Pick your load

Use the mulch calculator on the product page (length × width × depth) or go by the coverage table above. Between sizes? Go bigger. Mulch keeps, and a spare pile is handy all year.

2Pick your delivery zone

Residential delivery is priced by zone from Greenbank. Commercial loads have one standard delivery inside the 50km area. Either way the price shows before you pay.

3We deliver

A tipper truck tips the load on a firm, flat spot on your property, clear of overhead lines and off council land. Usually within a few days of ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pick mulch up from your yard?

No. We are delivery only. The Ellen Grove depot is a working tree yard with trucks, chippers and excavators moving all day, so it is not open to the public and there are no pickups or walk-ins.

Where do you deliver?

Residential loads go to Zones A to D, measured from Greenbank 4124: Greenbank, Park Ridge, Browns Plains, Forest Lake, Springfield, Jimboomba, Goodna, Redbank Plains, Ipswich and the suburbs around them. Commercial loads cover about 50km around Forest Lake, with Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast runs quoted per job. The full suburb list is on each product page.

How much does a load cover?

At the standard 75mm depth a 10m³ load does about 130m², 20m³ about 265m² and 40m³ about 530m². Go 50mm for a top-up on existing beds and 100mm for new beds where weeds are the problem.

What is actually in it?

Chipped trees from our own removal and pruning jobs, mostly gum with fig, jacaranda and camphor laurel. It is aged in the stockpile before it is sold. One product, no bark, no coloured or tea tree mulch.

What does the truck need on delivery day?

A firm, level spot the tipper can reach, no overhead power or service lines, and your own land rather than the nature strip. If the driver cannot tip safely the mulch is refunded but the delivery fee still applies, so have a quick look at the drop point before you order.

Is the mulch allowed to move around the fire ant zone?

Most of Brisbane’s south-west, Logan and Ipswich is inside the fire ant biosecurity zone. We move our mulch in line with the Queensland movement controls. Spread your load within a day of it arriving.

Can landscapers and builders get an account?

Yes, for regular commercial customers. Ring the office and we will set you up. One-off loads can be paid online when you order.
